The best way to test your makeup skills and speed is to go on holiday. Haha! I am a girly-girl and like to travel in style. Holiday types that require one to rough it out, wear safari-colored clothes, and live in travelers dormitories will never see me a part of them.
I need to have my security blankets - a clean and safe hotel room, clothes I don't get to wear in Singapore because of the weather and street style, and my makeup. I have to work faster on the makeup when on holiday though!
If I could, I would show you all 5 days of my makeup looks in Okinawa, but as I had idiotically deleted 80% of my Okinawa photos, I can only show you 1. But better than none!

This is obviously not an everyday look, what with that intense Outer V (where is my Outer V?) and defined Contour Area (how to contour my eyes?). Even though I used one color for the entire lid and one color for both the Contour Area and Outer V, this was not the easiest look to achieve.
Makeup Geek eyeshadow in Peacock, as beautiful a teal with black undertone as it is, is not the easiest eyeshadow to work with. It is matte, rather dry, applies chalky, requires many layers to get good pigmentation and does not go on as creamily as matte eyeshadows from other brands like Sugarpill or MAC. Sugarpill does some very good quality matte eyeshadows! Check out my review of Sugapill eyeshadows.
I would have achieved a more colorful look in shorter time with eyeshadows that go on quickly and intensely! Blending out Peacock took almost forever but I love how it turned out! That black-blue is absolutely gorgeous! I just wished it had a better formula.
Okie! Now you know what I think of MUG Peacock. A review on MUG eyeshadows coming up!
What is the hardest eyeshadow you've ever worked with? Peacock is not the hardest, I've had worse.
